So I got stuck again - after having to fly to Baku, Azerbaijan because I did not get a permission to enter Azerbaijan on a land border - I am now stuck in Alat waiting for a ferry to Kuryk, Kazakhstan.

Yesterday three ferries left for Kuryk, now there is a strong wind on the Kaspian Sea, so no ferries will arrive or leave.

There are 2 ferries to Kuryk in port, though for some reason it is not possible to enter any of them.

If the ferry currently coming from Kuryk does not arrive and leave within the next 3 days, there will be no ferry for the next 5 - 6 days, as there is a big storm coming.

On my way to Alat I got myself a Pizza and got some food and water, I am so happy that I can eat again and food stays in :)

By the way: the bus that you can see is one that I should have taken and was told after it left.
